Ringwood Library

The first Ringwood Branch Library was built in Warrandyte Road, Ringwood and opened in May, 1970. The Library moved to the Eastland Shopping Centre in March, 1995  and in October 2013 returned to this the original building while a new Ringwood Library, Learning and Cultural Centre and Town Square is under construction. This is estimated to finish in 2016. 

Ringwood and Knox Libraries were the foundation members of the Eastern Metropolitan Library Service.  and currently has 33,135 members with an average of 30,000 visits per month.

Visitors to the temporary library will have access to the full range of library services including book, magazine, DVD and CD borrowing, computers and WiFi. Activities, including children’s storytimes, will also be on offer at the new location.

The new, state-of-the-art Centre will integrate a library, a learning centre, an art gallery and Council service centre.
